Solar powered torches - where to get them from?

I'm looking for a solar powered torch and/or lamp to send to a family in a country where power cuts are experienced extremely often. They need something that will last 4-5 hours when fully charged. I'm buying it in London. Any recommendations of products or places to get one from? Thanks.

may i suggest rechargeable batteries and flashlights or wick oil lamps-i have not seen a solar powered torch/lamp that put out enough light to be used in dark-3 people i know bought them for out side and its a real faint glow-hope this helped

you would be better off getting the wind up torches and even radios now.thay have inproved alot over the years and some are quite powerful and any diy outlet should sell them ie BQ, ARGOS,WOOLWORTHS ETC
